We ensure that all our security teams are well-trained in customer service skills, being critically important, as our security teams are the first point of contact in each property and serve as ambassadors for the Landlord, Residents and Retailers.
In addition to customer service training, all security teams receive ongoing annual training in First aid and are certified as ‘Appointed Persons’ on each site. Alongside this, security teams also receive training in fire emergencies and drills, CCTV monitoring and Health and Safety.
Residents feel more assured when greeted by a friendly familiar face each day and Landlords, Property Managers and Retail/Office Managers, feel more confident that issues will be attended too in a professional manner, when there is continuity of service. To this end, all of our security teams are employed on a permanent basis and remain where they are deployed, unless unforeseen circumstances dictate otherwise.
A large part of our Security Teams role, is centered on having a strong customer-focused attitude, alongside their duties of maintaining security at the property, by conducting access control, patrols, monitoring and liaising with contractors and managers. Naturally, when there is continuity in staff, a rapport is established between the security team and the residents and managers in the property. Not only does this help the Security team to get to know the residents and mangers and the general ethos at each individual property, it also helps to identify problems that might later escalate into serious issues.
